Surpac Vision 4.1 contains a major suite of enhancements for the visualisation
of geological data.
Once connecting live to an existing database with no import/export routine
you can view all your hole traces coloured by
any attribute in your database
in three dimensions.
Sectioning now works live on the database with the need for converting data
from plan to section view being removed.
Compositing can be done live on screen. This allows the geologist to either
use the existing tools for
automatically creating composites or, using the new
tools, have the flexibility to manually select and tag zones of interest.
There is also a new live connection tool for Access 2000 databases.
Other new features in version 4.1 include:
